The vast majority of systems suffer from black iron oxide contamination.This creates thick sludge deposits that are the result of corrosion taking place within radiators and other metallic components.The oxide particles range from very large to sub-micron with the latter leeching into the system water continuously during use.
The answer is simple - Power Flush
If carried out correctly a Power Flush using the correct chemicals will remove the sludge and to give permanent protection we could install a MagnaClean filter.
Fitting a MagnaClean Professional filter to a new or existing central heating system is simple.It comes with purpose designed triple sealed valves,which allows 360 degree rotation.Also includes is a spanner for lid removal and a custom made spanner for easy valve operation.Servicing is a two minute job.We will simply remove and wash the filter's sheath at the same time as the annual boiler service.Following a power flush central heating systems and boilers fitted with a 'Magnaclean' are left clean,efficient and economical.
If the system is left untreated the natural process of black iron oxide build-up continues and this could soon impair performance and might eventually clog the boiler and or radiators.
A power flush is a simple one-off treatment of your central heating and hot water system,recommended by many of the major heating component manufacturers. Because we add an inhibitor or protector after a system cleanse,it will remain protected for years,which means your boiler will work better,quieter and more economically for longer.
